Petra Gerster

Petra Gerster ( born January 25, 1955 in Worms ) is a German journalist and television presenter.

Life

Petra Gerster was born on 25 January 1955 as the daughter of a doctor in Worms. In her school days at the grammar Rudi -Stephan -Gymnasium in Worms she was politically active: She fought for more participation at their school, eg reaching the participation of students in grade conferences. After graduation in 1973 she studied under a scholarship from the Study Foundation of the German People Literature, Germanic and Slavic Studies at the University of Konstanz, as well as in the U.S. and Paris. She then completed an internship at the Kölner Stadt Anzeiger. Actually she wanted to be a teacher.

Family

Petra Gerster is the sister of former President of the Federal Employment Agency, Florian Gerster, and a niece of the second degree of the CDU politician Johannes Gerster.
