Petrovac, Budva

Petrovac ( na Moru ) (Cyrillic Петровац ( на Мору ), Italian Castellastua ) is a coastal town in Montenegro, which belongs to Opština Budva.

Petrovac is located on the coast between Budva and Bar, at the place where the old mountain road from Podgorica reaches the coast coming. The place has a 600m long sandy beach and is therefore a popular destination for tourists. Petrovac is often seen as a " quieter " destination, in contrast to the nearby livelier towns Budva and sutomore.

Before Petrovac there are two small islands Katic and Sveta NEDJELJA.

The OFK Petrovac, the city has a football club which plays in the top division.
