Petrovo Selo, Kladovo

Petrovo Selo (Serbian Cyrillic: Петрово Село ) is a village in the Opština Kladovo and Bor district in the east of Serbia, about five kilometers south of the Danube, which forms the border with Romania here.

Mass grave of Petrovo Selo

In 2001, a mass grave containing at least 39 bodies were found near the village. It is believed that they are victims of violence in connection with the Kosovo war in 1999.
