Peugeot 401

The Peugeot 401 was built from 1934 to 1935 by the French car manufacturer Peugeot. The car was offered in Different body styles, such as two -or four- door sedan, coupe, convertible and roadster.

The Peugeot 401 was equipped with a 44 hp four-cylinder 1,720 cc. In the short production time up to the launch of its successor, the Peugeot 402, leaving about 13,550 vehicles left the plant.

Eclipse

The model Eclipse was built in 79 copies from 1935 convertible variant of the Peugeot 401 This is about the first car with a vollversenkbarem steel roof which was electrically driven. Today, at least three preserved specimens are known yet.
