Peuschen

Peuschen is a municipality in the administrative community Ranis - goats back in the Thuringian Saale- Orla-Kreis. The municipality consists of the villages Peuschen, stretchers and Laskau.

History

Peuschen was first documented in 1408. In 1795, the mayor Johann Müller of Laskau built in the midst of his fields a residential and commercial buildings, which formed the origin of the later town Peuschen. Emerged in the next 60 years 76 mostly one-story houses that were inhabited by day laborers and industrial workers. On July 17, 1876 Peuschen received official recognition as a community. Peuschen and stretchers were part of the 1815 to 1945 and founded the existing Prussian district Ziegenriick, Laskau belonged at that time to the territory of Saxe -Weimar- Eisenach.

Incorporations

Since 1974 Laskau and since 1994 part of the municipality Peuschen stretchers.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on 29 May 1996 by the Thuringian State Office of Administration.

Blazon: "Divided by silver and green; growing up a black, golden eagle reinforced, down three asked in trefoil silver linden leaves. "

Townscape determining factor for the three districts, along with other powerful deciduous trees Linde. The Association of linden leaves in the coat of arms symbolizes the unity of the three districts, while the eagle refers to the former Prussian sovereignty of the districts Peuschen and stretchers.

The coat of arms was designed by the Goßwitzer Manfred Fischer.
