The Pfaffensattel is a 1372 m above sea level. A. high altitude alpine pass between the towns Rettenegg and Steinhaus am Semmering in Styria.

The saddle is the starting point of possible migration to the Stuhleck ( 1,782 m), the Little Pfaff ( 1,539 m) or on the Great Pfaff ( 1,555 m). Stuhleck can be reached from the saddle via a dirt toll road, which is passable but only in the summer months. The Roseggerhaus can be reached in just under three hours.
