It is located in the district of Aschaffenburg and Miltenberg, between the municipality Besse Bach and Soden. 2.0 km southeast is the mountain Hohe Wart on which a popular destination, the guest house is located high Wart.

Transmitter Pfaffenberg

On the mountain stands Pfaff 1953 Pfaff mountain station of the Bavarian Radio. It is a 181 meter high guyed steel tube mast. 2008, a second, slightly lower mast for DVB -T reception has been erected. On 16 April 2009 the old pipe tower was blown up. The alone now under new concrete tower is 174.2 m above ground top overall high.
