Phaisali District

Amphoe Phaisali ( Thai: ไพศาลี ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the eastern part of the province ( Changwat ) Nakhon Sawan. The Nakhon Sawan Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Nong Bua the province of Nakhon Sawan, the Amphoe Bueng Sam Phan and Wichian Buri Province Phetchabun, Amphoe Khok Charoen and Nong the Muang Lopburi Province and Amphoe Tak Fa Tha Tako and again in Nakhon Sawan.

History

Phaisali is a very ancient city, as evidenced by the remains of the ancient Khmer Empire in Tambon Samrong Chai. In the Tambon Pho and Na Prasat Khom even ancient burial sites have been found that could have come from the time of Ban Chiang.

The county Phaisali was on 1 January 1962 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the Tambon Samrong Chai, Khok Duea and Takhro Amphoe Tha Tako were separated from. On July 27, 1965, he got the full Amphoe status.

Management

Amphoe Phaisali is ( tambon) divided into eight municipalities, which in turn in 101 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Phaisali itself has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon), consisting of parts of tambon Khok Phaisali and Duea.

There are also eight administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
