Phantastik-Preis der Stadt Wetzlar
The fantastic prize of the city of Wetzlar is a literary prize awarded annually since 1983 by the city of Wetzlar.
History
It will be awarded from the genre Fantastik German -language original publications. The fourteen- member jury consisting of representatives of the city administration, the book trade, the media and educational institutions. The price was initially endowed with DM in 2500, and from 1990 the sum was increased to 7000 DM. Since 2002, the prize money is 4,000 euros. The award is presented during the days of fantasy under the direction of Fantastic Library of Wetzlar.
