Phayu District
Amphoe Phayu ( in Thai อำเภอ พยุ ห์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the center of the province of Si Saket. The Si Saket province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
Amphoe Phayu borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Mueang to the Si Saket, Nam Kliang, Si Rattana, Phrai Bueng and Wang Hin. All Amphoe located in the province of Si Saket.
History
Phayu was 30 April 1994 at first as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by his five Tambon were separated from Amphoe Mueang Si Saket. On October 11, 1997, he was promoted to Amphoe.
Management
Amphoe Phayu is divided into five communities ( tambon), which in turn in 65 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Phayu ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พยุ ห์ ), consisting of parts of the tambon Phayu.
There are also five " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
