Pheidippus

Pheidippos (Greek Φείδιππος ) is a figure in Greek mythology.

He was a son of the Thessalos and grandson of Heracles. Together with his brother Antiphos he took part in the Trojan War. The two brothers commanded while the 30 ships of the Sporades. After the war ended, they were devious to Epirus, where Pheidippos founded the city Ephyra. According to another version of the myth Pheidippos landed on the other hand for large false starts on the island of Kypros.
