Phelon & Moore

Phelon & Moore (P & M) from Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, England ( 1900-1967 ) is considered one of the first motorcycle manufacturer and pioneer in motorcycle. Their slogan was: "The Perfected Motorcycle ". World famous, the company was as a manufacturer of single-cylinder, inclined obliquely forward four stroke motorcycles ( " Sloper " ) with 500, 600 or 650 last cc which have been known since 1924 under the name Panther. The motor is installed as a stressed member of the frame.

Phelon & Moore also presented 250 - and 350 - cc four- stroke motorcycles with a vertical cylinder ago.

In the 1950s, the model range was supplemented by 200-324 cc two-stroke motorcycles. These engines were used in Villiers Ltd..
