Phil Decker is Jerry Cotton's service partner in the same crime novel series about the cases and adventures of FBI agents.
For the 50th anniversary of the series in 2004, there were over Phil Decker, a six-volume mini- series with the subtitle Jerry Cotton's best friend. In this series, six solo adventure by Phil Decker were described that he was, after leaving the FBI. He left the FBI because he was responsible for the execution of an innocent. His tour takes in the six individual adventures across the USA.
During the break from Phil was Sarah Hunter Service Partner of Jerry. With band 2457 Phil Decker returned to the series. He is next to Jerry Cotton as the most popular figure in the crime series. He is described as handsome and a bit quieter than cotton and has a troubled relationship with all air conditioners that never work properly in his eyes.
