Phil Parkes (footballer, born 1950)

Phil Parkes ( born August 8, 1950 in Sedgley ) is a former English footballer who plays in the position of goalkeeper. He was considered one of the best goalkeepers in the history of his long-standing clubs Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United.

Life

Walsall FC

His first professional contract was awarded in 1968 when his term Parkes third division side FC Walsall, for whom he played a total of 52 games.

Queens Park Rangers
