Phil Shulman

Phil Shulman ( born August 27, 1937 in Glasgow, Scotland ) is a musician. He was next to his brothers Derek and Ray 1966-1970 in the psychedelic rock band Simon Dupree and the Big Sound and 1970-1972 member of the progressive rock band Gentle Giant. Like his brothers Shulman is a multi-instrumentalist. In addition to singing, he played saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, recorder (English recorder ) and drums.

Phil Shulman Shulman is the eldest of the brothers and produced together with the other members of Gentle Giant, the first four albums Gentle Giant, Acquiring the button, Three Friends and Octopus. Phil Shulman was one of the main composers of the band.

Later, Phil Shulman business together with his wife a gift shop in Stoke Road in Gosport. He now lives in Hardway.
