Phil Town

Phil Town ( born September 21, 1948) is an American investor and author. He achieved fame through his international bestseller Rule # 1, in which he his simple adaptation of the principles of value investing - describes - by Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett. The book was in April 2006, the # 1 New York Times bestseller list in the category Paperbacks / counselor.

In the U.S., he frequently holds seminars and lectures on investment strategies for large audiences; on its website is talk of some 500,000 participants annually in the United States. Before his conversion to the active investor, he served as Green Beret and tourist guides.
