Phil Zajicek

Phil Zajicek ( born March 20, 1979 in Eugene ) is an American professional road bicycle racer.

Phil Zajicek began his career in 2001 with the cycling team Mercury Viatel. In 2003 he moved to Saturn Cycling Team, ran from 2004 for the U.S. Professional Continental Team Navigators Insurance, and from 2009 for Fly V Australia. He celebrated his biggest success in 2004 with the victory in the overall standings of the Tour of Qinghai Lake. He finished fourth in the Tour of Britain in 2005 and finished in the Herald Sun Tour 2006 fourth.

Due to a positive doping tests Zajicek was booked in 2004 and occupied with a small fine. On June 10, 2011 Zajicek was life-long closed due to multiple doping violations.
