In the final they won against the also exchanged in the IAHL Providence Reds.

Equal in their first AHL season reached the Ramblers the final, subject, however, there the Syracuse Stars with 1:3 victories. After Philadelphia failed in the second playoff round in the following year, it reached in the season 1938/39, for the second time the finals of the Calder Cup, but lost again. This time the team was beaten in the best- of-five series, the Cleveland Barons with 1:3.

Following the Ramblers missed the playoffs twice and the New York Rangers ended their cooperation with the franchise, which then renamed itself the Philadelphia Rockets. From 1955 to 1964 played another team in the Eastern Hockey League under the name Philadelphia Ramblers, but had nothing in common with the AHL franchise.
