The Philby's rock partridge ( Alectoris philbyi ) is a species of bird in the pheasant family -like ( Phasianidae ), which belongs to the order of Galliformes ( Galliformes ).

It is endemic to the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula Art It lives on grass and low brush -covered rocky hillsides and canyons from an altitude of 1,500 meters. Most commonly, it can be observed in mountainous areas above 2,400 meters.

The nest of Philby's stone chicken consists of five to eight eggs. The chicks hatch after an incubation period 25-26 days.
