Philip IV of Macedon

Philip IV (Greek Φίλιππος ) ( † 296 BC in Elateia ) was king of Macedonia 297 BC to 296 BC He was the eldest son of Cassander and Thessalonica ( a half-sister of Alexander the Great ) the dynasty at the Antipatriden. Philipp died after only four months of rule in Elateia in Phocis of consumption.

About his short reign, no further details are known. After his death, his two brothers, Antipater and Alexander took over the government together.
