Philip Jeck

Philip Jeck ( born 1952 ) is an English multimedia composer and choreographer.

Life

Philip Jeck studied visual art at Dartington College of Arts in Devon in England. In the 1980s he experimented with compositions of turntables and electronics and had solo performances in Europe, Japan and the United States. He composed pieces for dance and theater groups, including for anatomy Performance Co., Yolande Snaith Theatre, Movie'n'Opera in Vienna, Laurie Booth and Steve Paxton. He also composed music for dance movies on TV. In addition, he worked closely with choreographer Laurie Booth and is a member of Slant. His albums are released on Touch Records.
