Philip Larsen
Philip Elzer Gade Larsen ( born December 7, 1989 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish professional ice hockey player who stands in July 2013 in the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League contract.

Career
Philip Larsen began his career as a hockey player in the junior section of the Esbjerg IK, in which he was active until 2005. Then the defender moved to Rögle BK, for whom he made his debut in the HockeyAllsvenskan, the Swedish second division was in season 2005/ 06. After just one year, he left them and signed a contract with Frölunda HC, with the U20 Junior Champion he each of the relevant age group in 2007 and 2008. In addition, he occasionally came for Frölundas professional team in the Elitserien for use. He also spent much of the season 2007/ 08 as Players out on loan at second division Borås HC, for which he in 24 games ten points scorer, five goals scored. In addition, Larsen was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2008 in the fifth round as the 149th overall player from the Dallas Stars. First, he remained at Frölunda HC in which he had from 2008 to 2010 a regular place in the Elitserien.
After the end of the season in Sweden Larsen was towards the end of the 2009/10 season his debut in the National Hockey League for the Dallas Stars. In two appearances he gave an assist. For the 2010/11 season, the Danish international joined all the way to North America. In the regular season he played mainly for Dallas ' Farm Team Texas Stars in the American Hockey League and qualified for the playoffs with his team as he stood six more times in the NHL for the Dallas Stars on the ice.
On July 4, 2013 Larsen was transferred together with a seventh- round choice of law in the NHL Entry Draft in 2016 in exchange for Shawn Horcoff of the Edmonton Oilers.
Internationally
For Denmark, Larsen took at junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2006 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2006, 2007 and 2009 and the U20 Junior World Championship 2008 part. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships A- 2009, 2010 and 2012.
