Philip Locke

Philip Locke ( born March 29, 1928 in London, † 19 April 2004) was an English actor who was best known for the role of Vargas in fireball.

Life

Locke starred in numerous films and TV series, such as hurricane, and in Edgar Wallace's The mysterious theater. In the James Bond film Thunderball, he was provided first for the character Janni, but eventually got the role of Vargas. In the film, he spoke only four words and almost always appeared alongside Michael Brennan, who eventually got the part of Janni. Before fireball he starred alongside Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman in one of the series The Avengers and melon ( engl. The Avengers ) with. Two years later, he appeared again in the series. Later he was seen fleeing to Athena also, along with Roger Moore in an episode of Simon Templar and in the action film. After several stage roles, he was recognized for his role as Sherlock Holmes ' adversary, Professor Moriarty honored with the Tony Award.

Locke's homosexuality was not known until a few years ago.

Philip Locke died at the age of 76 years.
