Philipine van Aanholt

Philipine van Aanholt (born 26 May 1992, Utrecht, Netherlands ) is a sailor from Curacao.

Career

Aanholt is the daughter of the sailor and Olympic participant Cor van Aanholt. In 2003, she played in an Optimist at the North American Championships, Valle de Bravo ( Mexico) their first international regatta. In 2008 she was in the Splash Girls World Champion.

Later, the Laser Radial class was the boat in which she competes mainly to competitions. In the sailing world championships 2011 Perth before she was 83, a year later, in the laser -Radial Women's World Cup against Bolton 37

She qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. After the National Olympic Committee of the Netherlands Antilles had the resolution of the island federation lost its recognition by the IOC, they received permission to go to London as Independent Olympic participant at the start.
