Philipp Heerwagen ( born April 13, 1983 in Kelheim ) is a German football goalkeeper.

Career

He began his career in 1989 in the F- youth of the SpVgg Unterhaching, in which he was goalkeeper, because in practice no one else wanted to put into the goal and he kept well. He moved in 1997 to the C- youth of the youth department of FC Bayern Munich and returned in August 2001 back to SpVgg Unterhaching. The following season he was in the playing in the Regionalliga Süd Unterhachingern to the goalkeeper. He made his debut on August 3, 2002 ( 3rd Round ) in a 2-2 draw at home against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. At the end of the season he had 34 goals conceded to the second lowest, the champions in 2003 and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. In this he made his debut on August 3, 2003 ( 1st Round ) 4-2 win in the away match against SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

After three more seasons ( during the winter break of 2006/ 07 gave him the " kicker " the title of " Outstanding" ) and the relegation to the Regionalliga Süd he left the SpVgg Unterhaching and moved to season 2007 /08 Bundesliga VfL Bochum. For this he only came the following season on 13 December 2008 ( 17th Round ) in the 1-2 defeat at home to 1.FC Cologne to his Bundesliga debut. In the 2009/10 season he became the first goalkeeper of the VfL ​​why he his contract in Bochum also extended early January 2010 ahead of schedule by three years.
