Philipp Kirkorov
Filipp Kirkorov Bedrosowitsch ( Bulgarian Филип Бедросов Киркоров; Russian Филипп Бедросович Киркоров; born April 30, 1967 in Varna, Bulgaria ) is a Russian singer, composer and music producer.
Biography
Kirkorov was born in Bulgaria. His father is of Armenian origin Bulgarian singer Bedros Kirkorov. From 1984 he attended the Gnessin Institute in Moscow and finished his training in 1988 with honors. Musically Kirkorov oriented examples from the Russian and Western popular music and was involved in the 1990s and 2000s as a performer and composer for a number of countries of the former Soviet Union at the Euro Vision Song Contest. In addition to his work as a solo artist, he regularly publishes duets with famous artists of Russia.
In early 1994 he became engaged to Alla Pugacheva, on 15 March, the couple was married in a civil ceremony in St. Petersburg by the then Mayor Anatoly Sobchak. On 15 May of the same year was followed by a religious ceremony in Jerusalem. The marriage lasted almost 10 years and was divorced in March 2005. Kirkorov represented Russia at Euro 1995 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin with the song " Kolybelnaya dlya Vulkana " ( ' Lullaby for a volcano ') and reached the 17th place. He was co-author of the Belarusian contribution to the Euro Vision Song Contest 2007, " Work Your Magic", and he also wrote the 2008 Ukrainian contribution " Shady Lady" for Ani Lorak. In Bulgaria, he was also a jury member in the 2nd season of the local version of American Idol. In Verka Serduchkas music video " Do Re Mi" Kirkorov has a cameo.
Many of his successes in the countries of the former Soviet Union, in addition to his own compositions mainly Russian -language cover versions of previous ESC posts, including " Dreaming" (Ireland 1995), " ( I Would ) Die for You" (Greece 2001), " Diva " (Israel 1998), " La Voix " (Sweden, 2009) as a duet with Anna Netrebko and " Playing with fire " (Romania 2010). On November 26, 2011 his daughter, Alla Victoria Fillipowna Kirkorowa was born.
Scandals
Kirkorov gained media attention by regularly scandalous performances. So he swore in May 2004, a journalist in the vernacular, as these it asked him the reason why he would covers so many foreign titles. During a concert of Viktor Yanukovych in the Ukrainian presidential election campaign in 2004, his father called under shrill protest of Yanukovych supporters mistakenly in support of the opposition candidate Viktor Yushchenko.
Reported is further, Kirkorov had let his bodyguards beat up by the singer of the band DDT, Yuri Shevchuk, after this had been disparagingly about Kirkorov, voiced his music and his family.
2009 was forced to resign as president of the national jury for the Euro Vision Song Contest, after he had brought public sympathy for the Greek Sakis Rouvas performers expressed and was seen by journalists at a private dinner with the eventual winner Alexander Rybak Kirkorov.
2010 Kirkorov was seen in how he, unexpectedly physically attack a woman from the audience during a concert.
