Philipp Wendler (born 2 June 1991) is an Austrian football player at the position of a striker. Since 2009 he plays in the amateur team of Kapfenberg SV, SV Kapfenberg II / Austria Kapfenberg, Styria in the fourth division league and the team of professionals with gaming operations in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Career

Youth

Wendler began his active career as a football player in late April 1998, when he was taken at his home club, the Sports Union Gossendorf, in the small south-east Styrian municipality Gossendorf in youth. After he already went through several youth teams, he came in early 2001 in the neighboring Pertlstein represented there to cooperation agreements, the SG Union Pertlstein. There he played until June 2001 and then again came back to his hometown club. In early August 2001, the then ten- year-old was given a second time to the cooperation agreement and finally came mid-July 2002 back to that and then spent another three years in Gossendorf offspring. In August 2005, Wendler was brought to the youth department of the Kapfenberg SV and also added in Kapfenberg Nachwuchsmodell.

In the Upper Styrian he came in his first youth season in twenty league games scoring seven times. Similarly successful it went on in his second season in Kapfenberg, where he scored eight goals in 16 equal parts and was still included in the same season in the squad of the third team with game operation in the area siebentklassigen League Murz. Having already completed a few games in the area league, he still came in the 2007/ 08 season to two youth missions and then focused exclusively on the territory League Murz.

Time, ASC Rapid Kapfenberg

In his first season in League siebentklassigen area Murz brought Wendler outstanding performance. Although he came to five appearances only at the end of the season, he scored six goals and thereby ranking it behind Sascha Harb (9 goals ) took second place in the team, internal scorers. His team debut in the young striker on 17 May 2007 in a 3-0 away win over the width- SV, as he stood from the beginning on the lawn. Only one lap later he came on May 20, 2007, the 1-2 home defeat against the second team of the SC Bruck / Mur scoring for the first time when he scored the only goal of his team in this game. After he met in the following round against SV Phönix Hönigsberg the same as a double, the skilled offensive player came in the last round of the season in a 3-1 away win against SC cast his first hat-trick in adult football.

His good form continued in the 2007 /08. So he came already in his first seven Cup inserts for scoring five times and was there at the beginning next to Lukas Stadler or Manfred Gollner one of the best scorers of ASC Rapid Kapfenberg. He scored early in the season in a 3-0 home win over the ATuS Langenwang a brace and was in round 13 in a 6-0 away win over the second team of the SC Mürzhofen / All Saints one more time in double successfully. On 10 May 2008 he was in the 2-0 away win against SV Phönix Hönigsberg be time being the last game in green and white and then fell injured for several months. Almost exactly five months after his last championship game for the ASC Rapid Kapfenberg Wendler was 11 October 2008 in a 3-3 home draw on the SV Oberwölz his comeback for the third fight team the Kapfenberg SV, as he played through the full match duration. From the farm team in the national league

On his next championship use Wendler almost had to wait again for five months, until finally he along with his team-mate Lukas Stadler announced on 15 March 2009 in the 0-4 away defeat against eventual champions SVL Flavia Solva his debut in the fourth division Styrian league. As opposed to Stadler, who was from the beginning on the lawn, Wendler came only as a substitute for use. Early in his division time of 1.92 m wide striker came mainly as a substitute for the use and brought it as only the beginning of a series of short sessions. 1st May 2009 Wendler finally stood in the 3:5 home defeat against the UFC Fehring for the first time in his brief country league career over the full playing time on the field. After Wendler was already in the pre-season before the season 2009/ 10 with the professional team of its common association in use, he was taken early in the season in the Bundesliga squad, although he did still came exclusively in the national league for use, but always mittrainierte with the pros. With the 2009/10 season, the young attacking players became a regular in the national league team and came to date (9 May 2010) at 21 Championship Appearances, where he remained without a goal. Of the 21 games he was in 19 over the full duration of players on the field. Although he had already played a game in the national league on the same day and there was used for 60 minutes, Wendler was KSV coach Werner Gregoritsch for the Bundesliga match between SV Kapfenberg and the SC Magna Wr. Neustadt brought into the senior squad. When Away match in Wr. Neustadt finally came the 18 -year-old in the 87th minute for Deni Alar on the lawn and gave as his debut in the top division in Austria.
