Philippe Adams

Philippe Adams ( born November 19, 1969 in Mouscron, Belgium ) is a Belgian former racing driver.

Career

Adams drove in 1992 in the British Formula 3000 and won second place in the championship. In 1993 he won the series. In 1994 he drove for Team Lotus in Formula 1, and participated in two Grand Prix races. At the Grand Prix of Belgium, he retired after a spin, the Grand Prix of Portugal, he finished 16th place.

After the unsuccessful foray into Formula 1 in 1995 he drove for Audi in the Belgian Procar Championship and missed the overall victory just barely. In 1996 he moved to the Italian Touring Car Championship and won the 1997 with a BMW M3 race in Magione.
