Philippe Agostini

Philippe Agostini ( born August 11, 1910 in Paris, † October 20, 2001 ) was a French cinematographer.

Life

Philippe Agostini graduated from the film school École Louis Lumière and was after some years as a camera assistant and a member of the camera crew from the end of the 30 years as director of photography. Agostini worked for the most prestigious French directors of this era such as Claude Autant - Lara, Robert Bresson, Max Ophüls Marcel Carné and. In the late 50s he himself led in some films with religious content director and had the most success with sacrifice of a nun. Agostini was married to actress Odette Joyeux.
