Philippe Clerc

Philippe Clerc (born 24 December 1946 in Port-Valais ) is a former Swiss track and field athlete, specialized in the sprint. In 1969 he was elected to the Swiss Sportsman of the Year. Clerc started for Stade Lausanne and married the British athlete Janet Simpson ( 1944-2010 ).
