Philippe Collet

Philippe Collet ( born December 13, 1963 in Nancy ) is a retired French pole vaulter.

In 1985 he won the silver medal at the Universiade and 1986 bronze at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Madrid and the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart.

In 1987 he was fourth at the European Indoor Championships in Liévin, but resigned at the World Athletics Championships in Rome without a valid attempt. The following year, he came in fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Budapest and the Olympic Games in Seoul.

After a fourth place finish at the European Championships in 1990 in Split, he qualified for the World Cup 1991 in Tokyo for the final, in which he succeeded, however, not a valid test.

At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, ​​he finished seventh at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 Fourth.

Five times he was in the open air (1985, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992) and three times in the Hall (1986, 1988, 1991 ) national champion.
