Philippe Druillet
Philippe Druillet ( born June 28, 1944 in Toulouse ) is a French comic book author and cartoonist. He designed the optics of computer games, is an author, filmmaker, director and actor.
Work
Druillet founded in 1975 with Jean -Pierre Dionnet, Bernard Farkas and Moebius (pseudonym of Jean Giraud ), the comic magazine " Métal Hurlant ", which will soon be marketed as " heavy metal " and "heavy metal" in English and German language area. Besides Philippe Druillet are the main authors Moebius and Richard Corben.
The German science fiction author Herbert W. Franke Druillet praised as a comic writer and signatories as follows: " The radical renewal came in the seventies from Europe, especially with two French illustrators: Philippe Druillet and Moebius. Druillet, located between Gothic horror and Baroque Sci-fi, goes beyond the traditional framework of comic strips and opens the reader a frenzied and gigantic universe in which man finds no place. "
