Philippe Louis de Noailles

Philippe -Louis -Marc- Antoine, duc de Noailles, prince de Poix (* November 21, 1752, † February 17, 1819 in Paris) was a French politician.

Philippe -Louis -Marc -Antoine was the eldest son of Marshal Philippe de Noailles, duc de Mouchy. He was in 1789 elected as representatives of the nobility of Amiens and Ham in the Estates General. Due to a duel with the commander of the National Guard at Versailles, he was forced to resign.

He left temporarily the country, but soon returned and took part in the revolution of 10 August 1792. Not to be guillotined, like his parents, he left again the country. In 1800 he returned and lived during the Empire retreated to his estate in Mouchy. During the Restoration, he was appointed Pair.
