Philippine languages
The Philippine languages are a sub- group of the Malayo -Polynesian languages.
To their area of distribution throughout the national territory of the Philippines with the exception of the Sulu archipelago belongs in the extreme southwest, beyond Philippine languages are also common in the northern part of the island belonging to Indonesia Sulawesi. In the Republic of China to the island belonging to Lan Yu, a Filipino language is spoken by Yami also.
The Filipino is with about 20 million speakers one of the largest Philippine languages and the official language of the Philippines.
