Pho Chai District

Amphoe Pho Chai ( Thai: อำเภอ โพธิ์ชัย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Roi Et Roi Et The province is located in Isaan, the northeast region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Pho Chai borders the following counties ( from east clockwise): Amphoe Phon Thong to, Selaphum and Chiang Khwan in the province of Roi Et Province, and to the Amphoe Rong Kham, and Don Chan Kuchinarai the province of Kalasin.

History

Pho Chai was on 1 April 1974 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Chiang Mai Kham Pia, Sa -at and Kham Pha -ung Amphoe Phon Thong were separated from. On March 25, 1979, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units

Amphoe Pho Chai is ( tambon) divided into nine municipalities, which in turn in 112 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Chai Wari ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ชัย วารี ), consisting of parts of the tambon Kham Pia,
  • Chiang Mai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เชียงใหม่ ), consisting of the whole tambon Chiang Mai,
  • Kham Pha - ung ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล คำ พ อุ ง ), consisting of the whole tambon Kham Pha -ung,
  • Akkha Kham ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล อัคคะ คำ ), consisting of the whole tambon Kham Akkha.

There are also six - Tambon administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
