Phon Sai District

Amphoe Phon Sai ( Thai: อำเภอ โพนทราย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southeastern province of Roi Et Roi Et The province is located in Isaan, the northeast region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Phon Sai borders on the following districts (from west clockwise ) to the Amphoe Nong Hi Suwannaphum and in the province of Roi Et, the Amohoe Sila Lat Rasi Salai and the province of Sisaket as well as Amphoe Rattanaburi the Surin province.

History

Phon Sai was born on November 16, 1976 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the two tambon Phon Sai and Samkha were separated from Amphoe Suwannaphum. On May 25, 1989, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units

Amphoe Phon Sai is in five communities ( tambon) divided, in turn, in 58 communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Phon Sai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โพนทราย ), consisting of parts of the tambon Phon Sai.

In addition, there are four Tambon Administration Organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
