Photomarathon
A photo marathon is an event where participants get a generic topic, which they in a fixed time at its discretion to implement creative with their camera.
Regulate
The rules may vary from event to event, however, the following rules are common:
- The number of participants is not limited
- For the participation of an entrance fee is charged
- Each photo marathon is under a main theme / motto
- To this main theme, there are sub-topics / tasks, which must then be converted photographically
- The main theme and the topics are secret until the start
- All threads have to be photographed in a predetermined time, a passing of time, the disqualification
- Images may not be edited or changed
- The topics are to be photographed in the order specified
- Participants to the themes according to their own ideas within the scope and extent of their abilities to implement
- Only JPEG format is allowed as a valued and
Expiration
Each photo marathon has an individual character of its own. This is also reflected in the organization and execution. However, there are also similarities, which are the same in every city.
- Participants log in to the run-up to the event
- To start, the participants received the first part of the subjects to be photographed and are available only at an intermediate station, the next topics handed out
- In the target area all images are read directly from the memory card
- The submitted images will be presented to a jury for evaluation and selected the best series
- Is the assessment phase completed, the ceremony will be held and winners will be awarded with certificates and prizes
