Bearded Toad head ( Phrynocephalus mystaceus )

The Krötenkopfagamen ( Phrynocephalus ) are a Agamengattung that occur from the Arabian Peninsula through Central Asia to Mongolia and Northeast China. Almost all species live in dry areas. Phrynocephalus Theobaldi lives in the Himalayas at altitudes of 5000 meters and therefore has the highest living space in all reptiles.

Features

The head of the Krötenkopfagamen is stepped round and clearly from the flattened body. Your nostrils are small and often only columns that the eardrum is scaly, the eyelids are also covered by scales and bulging. Most of the animals are brown or gray color.
