Phu Kradueng District

Amphoe Phu Kradueng ( Thai: อำเภอ ภูกระดึง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province of Loei. The Loei province is located in the western part of Northeast Thailand, Isaan.

Geography

Adjacent counties and regions are (from north clockwise): the Amphoe Phu Luang, Nong Hin and Pha Kao in the province of Loei, Amphoe Si Bun Rueang the province Nongbua Lamphu, the Amphoe Si Chompoo, Chum Phae and Phu Pha Man ​​of the province of Khon Kaen and Amphoe Nam Nao of Phetchabun province.

History

Phu Kradueng was on 1 January 1962 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three Tambon Si Than, Puan Phu Pha Khao Saphung and were separated from Amphoe Wang. On July 16, 1963, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Phu Kradueng is divided into four subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 54 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Phu Kradueng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ภูกระดึง ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the Tambon Si Than, Phu Pha Nok Khao and Kradueng.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
