Phu Phan District

Amphoe Phu Phan ( Thai: อำเภอ ภู พาน ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southeastern province of Sakon Nakhon. The Sakon Nakhon Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Phu Phan bordered from the north clockwise as seen at the Amphoe Kut Bak, Mueang Sakon Nakhon and Tao Ngoi in the province of Sakon Nakhon, Amphoe Na and the Khu, Huai Phung, Somdet and Kham Muang Kalasin province of.

History

Phu Phan was 30 April 1994 at first as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three Tambon Sang Kho, Lup Lao and Phu Khok were separated from Amphoe Kut Bak. In 1996 was added to the District Tambon Kok Pla Amphoe Mueang Sakon Nakhon from Sio. On October 11, 1997 Phu Phan has been promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Phu Phan consists of four sub-districts ( tambon), which further into 61 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
