Phubbing

The term Phubbing is an English portmanteau word from phone ( phone) and snubbing ( rugged of snub off, rebuke ), and was created for a marketing campaign, an Australian publisher of dictionaries. The advertising agency McCann Erickson invented to make known a fictitious word, and a viral campaign to make it as a supposed editorial media coverage for the customer.

The term was defined as the habit to deal with the mobile phone or smartphone, while the people with whom you just wrong socially neglected. At the same time indirectly pointed out that this behavior is perceived in society not only from other people as extremely rude, but it also represents a communicative barrier or foreclosure. To this end, the initiative also fictional " Stopphubbing " an alleged Australian students was invented.
