Physics of the Impossible

The book The Physics of the Impossible is a popular scientific work of the American physicist Michio Kaku.

In the book it is, among other things, the physical consideration of occurring in science fiction works of art, such as the Tarnumhangs Harry Potter or of artificial intelligence. It presents a total of 15 techniques, some of which according to the author have opportunities to be realized over the next 100 years. These include Tarnmäntel, antimatter propulsion, telepathy, beam weapons and lightsabers.

In the book, these technologies are divided into three levels of difficulty. For stage two counts the contact to parallel universes, in stage three it comes to his view not problems to be solved such as the construction of a perpetual motion machine.
