Pi Mensae b

π Mensae b (Pi Mensae b ), and HD 39091 b, is a substellares object that the G subgiant Pi orbits Mensae. The property has an orbital period of approximately 5.9 years and is a candidate exoplanets.

π Mensae b was determined using the radial velocity method discovered ( Butler et al., 2001). The orbit has a semimajor axis of about 3.4 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.64. The minimum mass M * sin ( i) of the object is 10 Jupiter masses. Since the orbital inclination relative to the line of sight is not known, it could be a brown dwarf or a exoplanets.
