Pia Gjellerup

Pia Gjellerup ( born August 22, 1959 in Frederiksberg) is a Danish lawyer and social democratic politician.

Life

It was since September 8, 1987 Member of the Danish Parliament and Danish Minister of Justice of 25 January to 29 March 1993 Minister of Economy of 23 March 1998 to 21 December 2000, and then Minister of Finance until 27 November 2001. On 11 January 2007 she returned to her mandate and has since headed the political department of the Union of lawyers and economists DJØF ( Dansk jurist -og Økonomforbund ).
