Pia Wunderlich ( born January 26, 1975 in Bad Berleburg ) is a former German football player. She has played since 1993 in the Bundesliga and for the women's team.

Sporting career

Club football

Pia Wunderlich began with seven years at TuS Schwarzenau. Together with her sister Tina, she played there with the boys. In 1989, she joined the women's team of TSV Battenberg. With this club, it rose in 1992 in the Bundesliga. In 1993 she moved to the first FFC Frankfurt.

In 2005, Pia Wunderlich dedicated for people with Down syndrome ( trisomy 21), by participating in a poster campaign of the "German Down Syndrome Info Center".
