Analysis

The concert is, especially in mid sentence, influenced by jazz. This is not only in the rhythms of the concert clearly, but especially in its harmonious phrases.

Effect

The Piano Concerto No. 4 was premiered on November 18, 1926 in Philadelphia. The public reaction to the show was similar to that devastating as in Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 1

Under Rachmaninov's piano concertos, the fourth is considered the most unpopular. While some considered it not modern enough, there was some other than modern. Only the second post of 1941 was able to achieve a certain popularity.
