History

Around the 14th century was a fortified settlement on the site of the present Piaseczno. On November 5, 1429, the settlement of Duke Janusz I got the old city rights by Kulm law. 1537 arise brewery and the production of spirits in Piaseczno. Thus the city was the third town in Mazovia with these sectors. 1545 the city goes to the Polish queen Bona Sforza. From 1975 to 1998, the village belonged to the Province of Warsaw.

Incorporations

1916, the village of Wola Piasecka was incorporated into the city. 1919 villages Chyliczki Żabieniec and Zgorzały were part of the city.
