Picards

As Picards ( Pikarti ) a group of religious refugees from Picardy is called, the first settled before 1420 under their leader Richardus Picard in the city of Tábor in Bohemia.

Picard's successor was the blacksmith Adam Rohan from Veseli, after which they were referred to as Adamites. They were driven out by the Hussites of Tábor and settled and occupied Ostrov near Příběnice. Žižka let them destroy in 1421, 50 were burned, released another 25 mobs.
