Pick Szeged

The Pick Szeged Rt is an international Hungarian food manufacturers.

The company was founded in 1869 by Mark Pick, who established Italian salami in Hungary, just the taste and the recipe are different.

Before the Second World War, the company won several prestigious awards, after the war it was nationalized under socialism production grew steadily.

After the collapse of socialism represented the descendants of Mark Pick demands on the state. On 30 June 1992, the company became a public limited company and began buying other meat processing companies.

After the pick- Délhús - merger, the company achieved 30% market share, making it the market leader. This company combines the three main brands, Pick, Délhús and Ringa.

Pick is also sponsor of SC Pick Szeged, an internationally successful handball team from Szeged.
