PICT

PICT ( file extension is also used pct ) is a predominantly internal graphics format ( metafile ) of the Apple operating systems to Mac OS 9, it belongs to the screen description language QuickDraw. It may contain pixels, vector and text information. Under Mac OS X, it was replaced by PDF, but is also of current versions of QuickTime (Mac and Windows, as of November 2012) still supported. It corresponds to Windows Metafile (WMF or EMF) on Windows.
